Tomatoes

There is nothing like fresh tomatoes from the garden! YUM!

We are about to go pick a ton and make salsa to go with dinner.

Well, here it is. Johnny just picked about 15 jalapenos when I was not looking. I don't think we will need that many to satisfy Chris' desire for HOT!

House for sale!

Anyone in the market for a home in Pleasant View? Chris is moving to Texas in a week and our house has not sold. The market is soooo slow. I hope I will not be here long without Chris. It is a little rough to keep a home "show ready" with 6 kids by myself ! He has been out of town this week and I am already not liking it. The yard alone is a full time job.... and now the leaves are starting to fall. Now that is a lot of raking, blowing, and bagging! Alex did hours of mowing this week and even figured out a broken sprinkler that was flooding into our lower neighbors yard. He is amazing help and is growing into an awesome young man. I love that boy!

Squirrel

John and Adam had a friend over last week and I saw Adam hiding something under his shirt while they were walking up the basement stairs. I had heard them laughing a lot a few minutes earlier. I asked him what he had wrapped up in the dish towel under his shirt. He said nothing.....I went over and pulled the dish towel and out tumbled a dead baby squirrel onto the stairs by my bare foot. I had the camera in my pocket and here it is! Our cat had killed the squirrel earlier in the backyard and I hadn't gone out and put it in the trash.


Boys......boys.....boys....
I am just thankful they did not hide it in the house for me to find later.....especially with my house on the market. That would definitely not be a good thing for a buyer to come across during a showing of the house!

By the way...the dish towel and the squirrel went bye bye in the trash and the 3 little boys got washed thoroughly 3x over with soap and warm water!!

Texas

Chris and I were in Texas last week looking for a home. Here are the only two things I managed to take a picture of.

Chinese With Grandma

Grandma Betsy took us all out to Chinese before she went home. It was yummy! Some of the kids got busted for "sibling squabbling" and then it was all good and we had a great time. Thank , Mom!

Grandma Betsy Came to Town

My Mom was here along with my inlaws for a trip to Aspen Grove. We had a great time!

Grandparents Visiting

Grandpa John and Grandma Dana were visiting from Kansas a couple weeks ago. We went to Aspen Grove together and then hung out at the house for a few days.
